The KRC’s report “The Pennsylvania Minimum Wage in 2018” finds that the minimum wage in six border states and the District of Columbia increased on average by 26% between December 2013 and January 2018. We also found that wage and employment growth for very low-wage workers and those employed in food services has also been stronger in the region than in Pennsylvania.
