Two years ago today the landmark law was enacted, and it is already having a positive impact on the lives of millions of Americans. Families USA has an easy-to-read fact sheet outlining ways that everyday people are benefitting from the law right now. To name just a few:
- Your insurance company can no longer arbitrarily drop your coverage simply because you get sick.
- Your insurance company can no longer place lifetime or annual limits on your coverage.
