Despite false and dangerous stereotypes about the poor being unwilling to work, the majority of SNAP and Medicaid recipients work in any given year. In this report, Marc Stier explains why Pennsylvania should reject Medicaid and SNAP work requirements and how the burden of work requirements will deny health care and SNAP benefits to many people who are already working.
