Property taxes have been a subject of much debate in Pennsylvania, and efforts to reform them have heated up in recent months. Unfortunately, as this Reports and Briefing Papers shows, the four major proposals currently before the General Assembly do not address the primary issue with property taxes in Pennsylvania that too few state dollars are used to support public schools in the commonwealth.
